What if I can't make it
You will be missed, but we completely understand a destination wedding is a big ask for guests. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

We reserved a limited number of resort rooms for these 3 nights at Hyatt Andaz Resort on a first-come, first-served basis at a half-price base rate of $489 per night. The Guest Room rates include daily breakfast at Rio Bhongo for 2 people. Please add $75 each to the rate for the third and fourth adult per room (12 years or older). Rates exclusive of applicable taxes (13%) and resort fees (12%). Resort amenities include water sports equipment, water transportation to the Beach House, pool and fitness center access, valet parking and golf carts, and Cambi children's club.
We highly recommend booking your stay early at this gorgeous resort to ensure access to the blocked room rate. Please also feel free to stay as long as you'd like outside these dates at the standard rate. We'll be there for the week (July 29 - Aug 5) and would love to see you for extra time.
Can I bring a guest
If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest.

If you plan to use the time as a vacation with a larger group, please feel free to bring additional guests with you to Andaz resort. They won't be eligible for the discounted wedding block room rate.
Can I bring kids
We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adult-only reception and ceremony.

If you plan to take this opportunity for a family vacation, Andaz resort is kid friendly and offers childcare at Cambi Kids Club.

What's the weather
The average temperature in August is tropical, between 75 to 85 with sunny mornings and light afternoon showers.
Is there transportation
Wedding day shuttles from Andaz resort lobby to the ceremony and reception site (Andaz Beach House) and back at 10pm will be provided.
Do you have a registry
Your presence at our wedding is the best present and we're lucky to have all that we need. If you feel inclined to gift, please consider one of our favorite charities:
Can'd Aid & Lowcountry Land Trust

What's the dress code
The wedding will be on the beach in a tropical climate. We recommend opting for lightweight and breathable fabrics, such as cotton or linen. Flowy dresses or skirts for women and linen pants or khakis with a button-down shirt for men are suitable options for beach wedding attire.
What shoes should I wear
The venue is Andaz Casa de Playa, an outdoor beachfront venue with lots of sand. We recommend that ladies consider sandals, block heels, or kicking off your shoes and putting your toes in the sand.
What colors should I wear
We optionally invite you to join us in wearing neutrals or our wedding colors on the left side of this page to create a cohesive look for photographs.
What are the activities
Thursday will include a welcome pool party for all arriving guests.
Friday will include a 4pm ceremony with a buffet dinner and 5 hour open bar.
Saturday will be an optional group event or time to explore on your own.
Other activities and surprises will be announced on WhatsApp near the date.
Can I take photos
We've hired a professional photographer and videographer for the ceremony and ask that you stay unplugged for this portion. You are more than welcome to take photos and video the rest of the night. We will also have a 'disposable camera app' called POV to share group photos.
What's after the ceremony
We'll have cocktail hour with beer, wine, cocktails, and light hors d'oeuvres. We'll enjoy a costa rican beach dinner at 6pm.
Will there be an open bar
Heck yeah! We'll be offering a full open bar until the beach closes at 10pm. Optional after-party will be held at Rio Bhongo until midnight.
